Governing Body

The Governing Body of our school comprises of an Interim Executive Board (IEB). It is an unpaid role, ensuring that policies and decisions are properly checked.  The full IEB meets at least once each half term. The IEB started its term of office on 1.1.24.

The remit for the Governing Body is to:

  • Ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction
  • Hold the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of staff
  • Oversee the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent
