Music is a really important part of life in Our Lady Queen of Peace. We encourage all students to get actively involved. Our music concerts are a huge success with our students and the local community. 

If a student would like to learn a musical instrument, please contact the Subject Leader of Music. Lessons take place during the school day and there is an opportunity for further tuition and practice after school. Details of the cost of tuition per term can be obtained direct from the Music Department, however, if you are eligible for free school meals, please speak confidentially to the Music Subject Leader and we will hopefully be able to offer some financial support.

Currently, we offer tuition in the following areas:

  • Guitar
  • Bass
  • Singing
  • Saxophone
  • Drums
  • Piano
  • Brass 

Extra-Curricular provision changes each term and you can request additional clubs and activities to be run by liaising with the music department. Provision includes:

  • Choir
  • GCSE Music drop-in sessions
