Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Engineering College draws students from across the community and bus travel remains the most popular way to get to us. Below you will find the routes of the buses and relevant times when available.
How to apply to LCC for a subsidised season ticket

16:05 Monday to Friday
16:35 Monday to Thursday
17:05 Monday to Thursday
Each bus now travels to Sandy Lane (however your child must request this).
Costs - The fares have been revised from 1st Sept 2024 and will be as follows:

Annual Bus Passes
Annual bus passes are available direct from A1 Coaches Ltd. The total price for the year will be £624.80. The amount of £56.80 is payable by standing order for 11 months with the first payment to be paid by 01/09/2024.

In the event of non-travel, for illness as an example, the season ticket is not refundable. Cancellations can be accepted however requires one months’ notice.
This means three payments methods are available to you:
- Contactless – dedicated card, Apple Pay etc
- Cash on boarding the bus – please ensure your child has the exact fare each day as it is often very difficult to provide change
Season ticket - £56.80 standing order for 11th months, starting 1st September; goes out the 1st of each month thereafter; call our season ticket hotline on 01695 555777 to arrange

From Inglewhite via Northway, to Houghtons Road roundabout, around roundabout and back along Northway, then left Birch Green Road to first roundabout. Turn right and continue via Birch Green Road, over roundabout, Birch Green Road, over roundabout at Houghtons Road, Ashurst Road, Ashley Road, Ashurst Road, Houghtons Road, Glenburn Road to OLQP CEC.
Returning by the reverse of this route to Birch Green Road then left onto Northway and terminate at Ivydale.
